Are you looking for a publisher for your composition or arrangement? As a composer-owned company, we understand how important your musical creations are to you, and we pledge to respect both you and your music.  We specialize in sacred and liturgical music appropriate for school, church, and community ensembles.  Music in our catalog is available at www.LaudationMusic.com as well as through major online retailers such as J.W. Pepper and Sheet Music Plus.

We strive to offer contract terms that are reasonable and attractive to composers.  Currently, our standard contract provides for the following:

  • semi-annual royalty statements and checks
  • 10% royalty on all physically and digitally distributed sheet music
  • 50% of all collected recording and performance royalties
  • the composer retains ownership of the copyright
  • Laudation Music is granted an exclusive publication and distribution license, renewable every five years

Currently we are growing our catalog in these areas and are most interested in music that fits the following categories:

  • brass, woodwind, and string ensembles (quartets, quintets, choirs, etc.)
  • instrumental solos, duets, and trios (with or without keyboard accompaniment)
  • handbells
  • piano and/or organ solos
  • hymn settings and original compositions utilizing various combinations of these forces

Music may be submitted for review in Finale® (preferred), PDF, or MusicXML.  Please do not send original handwritten scores as we cannot assume responsibility for them.  Audio recordings, demos, and videotaped performances (please provide a file or internet link) are appreciated, but not required.  We will do our best to respond within two to four weeks after your music has been submitted.  If accepted for publication, you will receive  a contract to be signed and returned.
